The Dial-A-Jet is simply an extra source of fuel for your engine to draw from. When the Carburetor is wide open, the vacuum running across the Dial-A-Jet pulls fuel up the hose and out of the Dial-A-Jet. You are able to tune how rich or lean you want your Dial-A-Jet by an external adjustment. Dial-A-Jets are mostly found in Outlaw racing, however, on some larger displacement bracket engines a Dial-A-Jet may be needed.
