The HP Shim Kit is a great tuning device for any racer. The Shim Kit comes with 5 shims, 3 Driver Shims and 2 Driven Shims. The Driver Shims help to adjust the engagement point of the Front half of your clutch. The shims are placed between the Driver Post and Clutch Cover to adjust how far the Clutch Roller sits from the launch point of the ramp. These shims can be used to set your engagement point exactly where your car and driver want it.

The Driven Shims allow a tuner to change the overdrive percentage of their clutch. By adding or subtracting shims between the Driven Unit Sheaves you can increase the amount of overdrive made by your clutch unit. We offer 2 shim kits, one to fit the HP Gold Series Holeshot Clutch and to fit the more traditional style clutches available today.
