Standard Sniper Flathead Freshen Kit

The HP Standard Sniper Flathead Freshen Kit is for the DIY Racer looking to upkeep their current 9 Head Bolt Sniper Engine. We get a number of calls of people freshening their Engines, and many times they do not purchase enough parts to properly do the job. So we have created Kits to help ensure each Engine has the necessary pieces for the job.

The Bronze Kit is the very base option. It is intended for low run combos, or for those on a tight budget who want to try to ensure their engine doesn't fail on them. 

The Silver Kit is the most common group of parts we install in engines daily here in the HP Shop. It includes a few more pieces, and in most instances requires the ability to hone a cylinder for your new piston.

The Gold Kit is for the experienced engine builder, as things like camshaft degree settings come into the mix. It is the option you're looking at if you'd like to replace the majority of your internal components.

Additional parts such as Titanium Valves, Valve Spring Retainers, and more are available if needed. However, further discussion is needed to know if today's parts will fit an older engine. So call us at 931-437-2457 in the event that you need more parts than our kits.
