The overhead platform helps to level the playing field between all kinds of Jr. Racer. The significantly increased tuning window allows Racers of every skill level to have a chance at winning. In testing, we have run vastly different tune ups and combinations on the HP Magnum OHV 7.90, all resulting in clean consistent passes. To show just how wide the range is, we have run anywhere from 7.30's to 7.90's simply by changing the combination on the engine itself, no weight adjustments to the car. The Huddleston Performance Magnum OHV is the future for all Jr. Racers, whether you're 400lbs or 600lbs.

The Huddleston Performance Magnum OHV 7.90 isn't just a Flathead stuck into an OHV package, this is a ground up build with a lot of new stuff to make these the best Jr. Dragster Engines available. First is the inclusion of our HP Ultimate Series of parts, our 1 1/8" HP Crankshaft is in every HP Magnum OHV, and we also now offer the HP Crankshaft in a Splined option. Our Ultimate Rods, HP Large Cam Gears, and 11/32" Lifters all make these combos the stoutest in the industry, while still taking 20 ounces of oil. On top you'll see the Huddleston Performance Jr. Dragster Billet Cylinder head, incorporating Titanium Valves/Billet Rollers Rockers/Monster Push Rods. These heads aren't warmed over Go Kart parts, they're designed to work well specifically on your Jr. Dragster. To top it off, improved layouts within the block itself make the Huddleston Performance Magnum OHV fit your Jr. Dragster much better than most any other OHV design out there.
