The HP One-Piece Spider is one of the lightest Spiders on the market today. The one-piece design allows you to lose the weight of the bolt on drive hub found on two-piece spiders. Lightening slots in the side perform 2 different tasks: 1. to make the spider even lighter than other designs and 2. the design of the slots creates a vacuum inside the spider which pulls belt dust from the bushing area, keeping the clutch from sticking. We have also made the drive hub a full .125" thicker than standard. That means more contact area on the drive hub which increase the consistency of the clutch from run to run. It also slows on the wearing of the drive hub itself, meaning longer life for your parts. We finished off the one-piece spider with a red anodized finish to set it apart from others.
