Although most bypass systems are found on Outlaw cars, there is actually a very real need for them on bracket entries also. Most racers have seen situations where their car nearly dies at the end of a burnout. The reason behind this is that you have a spike in fuel pressure at the end of your burnout. This is caused from the increased fuel pressure made while the car is at wide open throttle and a sudden decrease in RPM's where your driver has lifted at the end of their burnout. This combination causes the fuel pressure to spike and flood past the needle and seat within your Carburetor, making the RPM's drop off and the car to nearly die. The HP Fuel Bypass Kit bleeds off that excess fuel pressure and allows your car to recover very nicely at the end of the burnout.
